マンション購入のために英語を学びたいのですが、どうすれば良いですか？

中卒の元マンション建設作業員です。大手ゼネコンのS建設の下うけの仕事をやっていて、巨大マンション建設現場を見て感げきしました。僕も、そのうちあんなマンションが買えればいいなと思い、英語の勉強を始めることにしました。ここの皆さんは、マンションの拳闘者や購入者の皆さんと思いますが、英語の勉強するためのアドバイスをください。

とりあえず自分でできることは自分でしなくっちゃと思い、僕、早速毎日一箱吸っていたタバコを1本減らし、一日19本で我慢しています。これで年間365本も減らせます。年間1万円くらいも節約できるのマンションはすぐ買えそうです。

やっぱ、アメリカとかに旅行するのが一番でしょうか？それとも六本木あたりの外人バーで修行した方が早いでしょうかね？

単語を重点的にやりましょう。受験英語なら、１度に２つの種類まで同時進行させます。単語が終わるなんてことは絶対にないはずです。何千語・何万語と覚えることになるのですから。それまで英文法をしないというのは正しくないです。

単語を覚えるにはSydney Sheldonですね。男女関係、富裕層、リベンジ、色々な国での稀有な経験が盛り込まれており、多少単語を知らなくてもどんどん読めますよ。

最近はスマホで読めるので知りませんが、多分今も海外の空港で手軽にペーパーバックが手に入ると思います。フライトで移動中に読み終えれますね。

英語力をつけるのに良い方法は、日本人のいない国際機関で働くことです。ストレスが溜まる文英語力はアップしますよ。私の場合は、国連の機関で働いて英語力が大幅にアップしました。その後、外務省の仕事を現在まで長くしています。昔ほどではないですが、結構稼げますよ。年齢相当にビジネスクラスですし。

公用旅券なんて何十冊も腐るほど持っています。別に自慢するほとのことではないですが、公用旅券を示すと、世界中の大手ホテルで公務員割引が適用され、格安宿泊料金で、スィートやジュニアスイートの部屋が提供されて、大名旅行ができすよ。シンガポールのマリナベイサンズやハイアット・リージェンシーは常宿です。

英検やTOEICなどの資格取得は、現在の自分の実力を知る目安にも、また具体的な目標とするにもいいと思います。何も目標がないと、勉強にも張りがありませんからね。
